Attention Attention Attention Spouse delegates : Kindly note that there many doctors registered as spouse delegates. Please note that the spouse delegates are NOT allowed to enter in to the scientific and trade areas. If any of the spouse delegates do want to enter these areas for any reason, they need to pay full registration fees applicable to them. Please note that this is the decision of the members of the Karnataka ophthalmic society in the general body meet held recently. It serves no purpose writing to the organizing secretary or trying to argue at the venue with the security personnel. Please , if you do change your mind and want to attend the trade and scientific areas, pay up front. Residents: Please note that the Karnataka Ophthalmic society has, in the recent general body meeting, taken a decision to extend the resident discount for registration to, only those students , who are currently enrolled in a post graduate course like DO,MD,MS,DibNBE and few others. Those who are doing fellowship (like IOL fellowship/cornea fellowship etc) and senior residents ( in central institutes like RP centre/PGI or other similar places) are not entitled for this student/post graduate discount. Please make arrangements for the remaining amount to be sent to the organizing secretary as soon as possible. If the necessary amount is not paid there is likely hood of cancellation of the registration and the amount paid will be returned after March 2008, as per cancellation policy. Thanking you sincerely
